Corydoras venezuelanus (Black) is an exceptionally attractive and peaceful bottom-dwelling fish that captivates aquarists with its velvety dark coloration and lively temperament. This rare morph of the Venezuelan Cory adds a striking contrast to any freshwater community aquarium.

Being schooling fish, they thrive best in groups of at least 4-6 individuals. They act as natural cleanup crew members, constantly sifting through the substrate for leftover food.
