Bucephalandra sp. Mini Red is an exceptionally attractive and compact epiphytic aquarium plant that captivates with its miniature size and rich reddish-brown leaf hues. Native to the tropical rainforest streams of Borneo, it is the perfect choice for nano aquariums, shrimp tanks, and creating detailed aquascapes on driftwood and rocks.
This Bucephalandra species has a slow growth rate, making it very low-maintenance as frequent pruning is not required. The leaves are small and slightly wavy, with new shoots often emerging in vivid red and pink tones. Unlike stem plants, Bucephalandra sp. Mini Red should not be planted in the aquarium substrate; its rhizome must remain exposed or be attached to hardscape using fishing line or plant glue.
